Boater's Day 2024
The Safe Boating Committee has begun planning for Boaters’ Day 2024. This was an annual event until the dark days of COVID, and now it’s finally time to bring it back.
This event is open to the public and will be held on Saturday, June 1st. Start Time and details to be determined.
We need volunteers to help make it happen, including arranging for posters and newspaper advertising. There will be a meeting for all members interested in helping on Monday, April 29th at 7:00 at the HYC Clubhouse. Please email Ernie if you plan to attend. (ernieandirene@shaw.ca)

2024 AGM
All members please plan to attend the AGM.
Each year at the Annual General Meeting, the members of the Harrison Yacht Club are required to elect Flag Officers and Trustees to the HYC Bridge. Therefore, all members are advised that you have the right to nominate a voting member of the Harrison Yacht Club for a position on the HYC Bridge. In the event there is more than one person nominated for a position, an election by secret ballot will take place. All nominees will be contacted to confirm their acceptance of the nomination. There will be four Bridge positions to be elected. They are as follows:
Vice Commodore
Treasurer
Staff Captain
Trustee (1)
Donuts, muffins and coffee will be provided before and during the event. The legion bar will be available to members after the AGM is completed.
